Fellows and Advisory Board members are encouraged to create a business listing under the Resources Tab on Blackburn Connect. Community members may browse these listing to expand their professional network and support Blackburn entrepreneurs.
Blackburn staff may choose to highlight Fellows and Advisory Board members who have created business listings in the Blackburn newsletter or on social media.
Business listings will be approved according to the following guidelines:
- The Blackburn Institute reserves the right to reject any business listing. The final decision regarding if a listing is accepted lies with Blackburn staff.
- Listing for businesses that discriminate on the basis of genetic information, race, color, religion, national origin, sex (which includes sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression), age, disability, or veteran status will not be accepted.
- Businesses that sell products or services that are illegal in the state of Alabama will be rejected. Alcohol and tobacco promotions are not accepted in business listings. Business listings that the Blackburn Institute deems false or misleading will be rejected.
